I was immediately attracted to my 1998 chrome yellow Cobra as it sat in the showroom. Under the dealer fluorescent lighting the fit and finish of the exterior body panels were excellent. A look at the window sticker revealed the full complement of available options. Once inside the vehicle I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of the leather covered upholstery. The "Mach460" sound system was also pleasing...
I had to have it.
I have not regretted for an instant purchasing the car. I now have 35,700 miles on it. The horsepower and acceleration are not for the timid. Since I don't fall into the timid category; I love it. Form day one the car has been an absolute pleasure to own. Any stretch of open road is an invitation to let the pony run. This is the total package. Horsepower, handling, curb appeal, braking, sound, fit and finish.
Anyone with the urge to experience driving excitement without breaking the bank or sacrificing comfort should seriously consider one of these cars. However, I would not suggest turning Jr. loose in this thing even to go down to the local grocery store.
