Is 5 star the highest?

We bought our Ford Ranger in 1994 for my husband as a work vehicle. At that time,he was driving over 80 miles a day to and from work and needed something dependable. We were tired of buying used clunkers that only ran for a week or two. We prefer Ford over other companies and he knew he wanted a pickup. He knew he wanted to get good gas mileage so he chose the Ranger.

We got a great deal on our Ranger and it was worth every penny and then some. He was in an accident in it about 2 months ago and totaled it, but it had well over 90,000 miles on it and had never been worked on besides maintenance of things. Actually it had never even had a tune up or an alignment either. The only thing we had ever done to it was oil changes.

When we can afford to get another vehicle for him, it will definitely be a Ford Ranger!!! It got pretty good gas mileage (better than my minivan), and was so easy to drive that I even liked driving it. It outlasted what most vehicles would have, considering the miles that were on it and the abuse that it went through. He worked at a sand plant and had to take some pretty rough roads to get there.

Overall, if we could go over the 5 star rating, I'd double it and give it a 10!! This pickup is built to last!
