Terrible Static

I loved the fact that this model has two receivers, as well as the claim for "crystal clear reception." However, when I turned it up only high enough to just hear my son if he called (which was only up about 1/4 of the way) there was a very annoying humming static noise. Turning it up louder just made the static louder and much worse. I tried both channels, A & B, and received the same results. I'm returning it and do NOT recommend this monitor.
