Love this fun & easy to use high chair!!

After three kids, we decided to buy a new high chair for baby number four! We had a very simple high chair made by Gerry from 1997. After doing a lot of research, we decided on the Fisher Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair. It is big, but most high chairs are. It folds easily. Our old chair didn't fold down at all. While it doesn't fold FLAT, the Fisher Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair folds down small enough to put in our car. We had to move out of state this past year. Because we were living with the in-laws for 6 months until our house was ready, this was an item that we HAD to bring. We weren't sure how it was going to work, but we were able to fold it down and squeeze it into the car. To fold it you would use the buttons on the sides. The height adjusts easily by using different buttons on the sides.There are 7 height positions. It also leans back which is great for infants (these are also things our Gerry high chair didn't do). This is also done easily by squeezing a red latch on the very top. It has 3 positions. We started using it when our baby was about 5 months old. She wasn't quite sure about it the first time, but the next time she liked it.

The biggest things to me were safety and being able to wash it. Our Gerry high chair didn't have either a bar in between the legs or a 5 point harness. It just had a regular buckle. The Fisher Price Rainforest Healthy Care High Chair has both of those. It is safe. She can't get out. There are 2 positions for the harness. The tray locks in place and you can move it by either using two hands on the sides or one hand in the front. Sometimes it doesn't come out as easily as I'd like. The other thing I really love about this high chair that our old one didn't have was the extra tray that snaps on the main tray and can be taken off and washed, even in the dishwasher!

The pads are thicker than our old Gerry high chair and are really easy to wash off. We've even had the pads and the trays come clean after spaghetti sauce!! The straps got dirty after a diaper blow out, but came clean in the washer. There are a couple spots under the pad that hold crumbs and can be hard to get clean, but nothing a few shakes and q-tip won't get out.

It's on wheels and that's great, much easier to move around than the old Gerry high chair we had. You can also lock these wheels. The colors on it are bright and cheery.
The toys are pretty great for a little one. But, now that she's 15 months old, she's not as interested in them. We do like the neat little hook on the back to store the toy.
We really love this high chair. We're glad we bought it. We plan to use it for our next child as well.
