Fender American Standard Jazz Bass® Electric Bass Guitar

I'm more of a upright bass player so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on my electric bass when I went searching.

That's when I found the Mexican 5 string Jazz bass. It has a beautiful rich sound, and no buzzing like some other basses in the same price range.

I've use it for multiple gigs, and basically made the amount of money I paid for it back in a month of playing weekend gigs with some bands.

I'd definately recommend this to any student who's looking for a good quality instrument and doesn't want to pay the massive prices that others go for. I've played some of the fender basses that are 2 or 3 times the price and there is little noticeable difference.

I also recomend you restring it so instead of using a low B you have a high C string, it's a much better setup for soloing since you can get much higher but with the same tone quality.
