Night & Day is Right!

I have been wearing contacts for about 8 years and had good success with both Accuvue and Accuvue 2. I wore them the 'right' way, taking them pretty much out every night, letting them soak in solution and then replacing them in the morning. I found that if I left them in overnight, I would have blurry vision in the morning and many times could not function through the day without having to take them out.

After reading about the "Night & Day" contact lens in a magazine article, I purchased them from out of the country (Australia) to try them out since they were not yet available in the US. I am now on my third pair (that's 2 1/2 months!)

I find them comfortable all day ... no blurriness in the morning. In fact, they feel their BEST first thing in the morning! I no longer use any kind of eye drops during the day and I find that they never seem to dry out. Apparently they are made from some kind of gel and instead of being mostly water, they have a very small water content. And they say that the gel doesn't dry out.

I am heading back to the eye doctor in a couple months and it'll be interesting to see what he says. But I am planning on continuing to use these until something better comes along.

They blow Accuvue out of the water (no pun intended!).
