F.I.F.A Football 2004
Date of Review: Jul 30, 2004
The Bottom Line: A good game with good game play but not very satisfying and rewarding
I was quite impressed when i got this game on my birthday, the game provided good sounds, great animation, and very fluent and flamboyant game play, FIFA 2004 seemed a good play and I couldn't wait to get into it, especially the career mode, which appeared to be very rewarding.
I bought this product because, I guess its my total tradition to but every F.I.F.A game that comes out on the PS2.
I enjoyed the fluent gameplay that none of the other FIFA's could offer and left all of them for dead but when i played Pro Evolution 3 I could see where EA Sports have went badly wrong:
1) No players can be created, i have been left to scavenging fo FIFA 2002 (By far the worst FIFA game of all time) just to create players and i was gutted with 2003when you couldn't create players also.
2) Sometimes the game play can be weird: I've had situations where players are totally see through
3) When I played career mode and completed one year of it, no reward was given to me! then I found out about the EA Sports Bio! I was under the impression that this was just a pick up and play game; not one where you have to mess about doing stuff and saving it loads just to get a few rewards!
4) Last of all, there is not much involvement via international teams and i thought about it and it was a crafty excuse to buy Euro 2004 and i was very disappointed with that
Overall a good game, but not as good as the Pro Evolution series
