Still undecided...

We got this seat for our infant who was born over 7 lbs. We wanted something he could grow with instead of us having to buy an infant carrier and then buying a convertible car seat. I had to buy a separate piece of equipment to hold his head from rolling around. The seat was difficult to install for a first time mom, and I consider myself somewhat intelligent! I had to go to a fire station to have them put it in. We had to use a rolled up towel to shove underneath to made it tilted enough for an infant. It is big, and I have a Mazda CX-7 and we can't put our passenger seat back at all. I am 5'10" and I barely fit in the passenger seat now. It is easy to get him in and out of the seat and he sleeps like a dream in it. I don't know why they needed to include a cup holder...I suppose that will come in handy when he is a toddler. We bought another one for my husbands car because we thought it was the best bang for your buck. The Britax car seats are double the price for the same thing. The Evenflo crash test ratings tested extremely well.
