A Very Underrated Guitar To Say The least!!
Pros:
Well Built, Stays in tune well.
Cons:
Intonation was off a tad.
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this guitar to anyone who can't afford the price of a Gibson. This extremely well made and is fun to play. Great guitar!

Author's Review
I went to my local Guitar Center a couple of days ago hoping to buy the limited edition Epiphone Les Paul Studio Model with the Block Inlays with the Alpine White Finish and the Gold Hardware. Alas, to my chagrin, they did not have any of the Limited edition models in any color in stock but they did have a plethora of the standard Les Paul Studio models in Black and one in Alpine White, which I did find out by looking at the back of the neck, was indeed a limited edition custom shop model. It didn't have the block inlays or the gold hardware, but at least the Alpine White finish was a good start, so I plugged it into a Peavey Vyper amp and was immediately astonished at how good this guitar sounded. The neck on this is a little chunky but it didn't take me long to get used to it and immediately I was blowing off some Led Zeppelin riffs to the amusement of some of the customers in the store. The sustain on these stock humbuckers are amazing contrary to what some people might have you believe, although you might have to do a slight pickup adjustment in order to get this guitar to sound to your liking. To be quite honest, when I got this guitar home, the only fault that I could find was that the intonation was a tad off. It only took me a few minutes to fix that, after which, to my astonishment, I was pleased at how well that this guitar stays in tune no thanks to the Grover tuners. The tone on this guitar when using distortion is astonishing although there can be some slight feedback and some hum, although using a noise gate will alleviate that problem. The clean tones on this are a little bright but then again using the tone knobs can easily solve that as well. The 3 way switch works effortlessy without any problems at all as does the imput jack. The weight on this guitar can be a little heavy, at least it is to me, but switching to a thicker strap took care of that. All in all, for $350.00, I feel that I definately got my money's worth and this guitar is definately a keeper. Well done Epiphone, Bravo!!!
