Very disappointed

I wanted a cordless upright vacuum for quick clean-ups, so I bought the Electrolux Stick Cyclonic Vacuum. Unfortunately, I've been unhappy with its performance. It has very weak suction power and hardly picks up any debris heavier than "dust bunnies" (even on bare floors). The very small roller brush is so soft that it doesn't sweep up any crumbs that are even remotely sticky from my vinyl floor. On rugs, the brush shoots more debris out from under the unit than it suctions up. The head size on the upright unit is so small that you can only vacuum a very limited area at a time, and because the suction is poor, you need to go over the same spot on your floor again and again in order to pick up anything at all. As an upright, it does not meet my needs whatsoever and was a waste of my money.
On the positive side, the detachable hand vac works fine for small jobs, although its suction head is very small and narrow. But, that said, had I been on the market for a hand vac, I would have purchased a dedicated hand unit with more features and a larger dust cup. Also, the upright vacuum is easily attached/detached from the charging station, which has a bright blue, easily seen light to let you know that the vacuum is connected correctly and is charging. You do not need to deplete the charge before recharging the unit.
