Electrolux EL1000A2 Pronto Bagless Stick Cyclonic Vacuum

I cannot understand for the life of me how this Pronto got such high marks. Both my son an I purchased one and were hugely disappointed. The suction power was minimal and it didn't pick up much of anything. The slip out handheld vacuum performed better. It's suction power was barely respectable, but when placed in the upright as the main power unit, it failed miserably. DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$ ON THIS DOG! We both gave it a trial of at least a month, but returned them for a refund. The Pronto does not live up to anywhere near reasonable expectation.
