A fantastic unit for its audience - but not a "normal" GPS.

Date of Review:  May 24, 2006
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend it for anyone who is serious about tracking rides and workouts. A great toy with some real value.
Review: This is a GREAT unit. I really enjoy using it. It has a clear screen, easy to press buttons, and fantastic accuracy. It leaves a bit to be desired as well.

I sold my Magellan Platinum GPS to buy this. I was not using the Magellan much, and...

Great Training Tool for Almost Any Cyclist

Date of Review:  Sep 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this unit to any cyclist that would like become a better biker.
Review: I did a lot of research before I decided on which Garmin Edge I was going to get. I already had a bike computer with cadence and I wasn’t interested in the features of a heart rate monitor or a barometric altimeter, so I quickly narrowed my choice...

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is one of the most impressive tools I have ever used for competitive athletic training.
Review: When I first got into cycling out here in southern Oregon, I knew nothing of the roads I was riding. I had no idea where I was, no idea where to ride, no idea how hard the rides would be, and no idea how far I had ridden once I came back home. I...

Bike Buddy

Date of Review:  Nov 26, 2009
It's Good For: Navigation
Review: I bought this gadget for my fitness route. It's a must for every cyclist and jogger. It has clear screen and works pretty accurately. However, it is on the pricey side but still you get what you pay for. i would recommend it to the serious cyclist.
