Painkiller: A simple bloody rampage with none of that 'plot' jive.

The Bottom Line: For a short period of fun offline, look to "Painkiller". If not, apply somewhere else.
Review: In the beginning, there were classic games like "Quake" and "Doom", in which you ran around a large level and killed anything that moves. Then you'd find the exit, look at your score, then proceed to do the same the next level.

Painkiller puts the giant S in FPS

The Bottom Line: Painkiller isn't neccesarily as complex as some shooters (i.e. Half Life 2 and Far Cry) but it offers an intense story mode and great shooting action.
