Lemon!

We purchased a 2003 base model Caravan with automatic transmission and manual locks and windows. I realize that it was far from a top of the line vehicle but for $17,000.00, I expected it to at least run for more than three weeks! The vehicle would not start three weeks after purchase and had to be towed to the dealership where it remained for 3 weeks!! They have replaced the entire engine under warranty but when we stated that we would fight for a new car under the MA lemon law, the Chrysler Corp representative and the sales manager at the dealership said that they would likely not cover the work under warranty if we pushed the lemon law issue. This is our second experience with a Dodge Caravan (the other is a Grand Caravan) and it is our second experience with needing warranty service on a vehicle. My suggestion is buy a Toyota or Honda. I've never been unhappy with them.
