I Love My RT!
Pros:
Sporty Looks, Great Handling, Good Stereo and Exhaust Note.
Cons:
Non-Power rear windows
The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend this car. If you can live with a stick shift, get the R/T model, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Author's Review
At first I wasn't to thrilled about the idea of purchasing a Dodge Neon. The older Neons were lessing than thrilling. When I walked onto the lot and saw this 2001 Neon RT, it looked so good, that I said I've got to have that car.
It is very sporty looking. It is Flame Red, over charcoal. On the outside it has 16" alloys wheels, chrome tipped dual exhaust, side "ground spoilers", fog lights, and a rear spoiler.
From the inside the car still looks sporty. The seat have nice bolsters, and are very comfortable. Even the headrests adjust 4-ways. The center console has a carbon fiber looking trim on it. The stereo (AM/FM Cass. w/ 4-Disc CD changer) sounds great.
Front Airbags are standard, and Side Airbags are optional, which I'd recommend. Mine also has ABS brakes with traction control. Braking is excellent.
When I bought it, it had 19,000 miles on it. I have put an additional 20,000 miles on it. It has been trouble free. Not a single problem.
I am glad that in the end I did buy my Neon. I highly recommend it.
