Dodge Dakota is Recommended

The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Dodge Dakota, just buy it without the stereo and put your own in later.
Overall I like my Dodge Dakota. It had a lot of room for a mid-size pickup. It looks great (especially when its clean). My Dakota has a V8 4.7 Liter engine. It has all the power that I need. It also has a lot of room in the bed. The truck is just the right size, its not too big and its not too small. Its the most comfortable mid-size truck that I have driven, and I checked all of them out before I bought my Dakota.
My only real complaint is the stereo. I have the CD/Tape/AM/FM Stereo. I have had it to the dealer 6 times in 4 months to get it fixed. I am on my third stereo and it still isn't working properly. This is very frustrating. The only other down side that I have noticed is the gas mileage. At 16 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway, the Dakota won't win any environmental conservation awards, but its actually better than I expected.
Overall I like the Dodge Dakota, but I have a bad taste in my mouth because I have spent so much time at the dealership trying to get the stereo fixed.
