Dixon pencils ? Perfect for any usage
Date of Review: May 1, 2008
The Bottom Line: Whether you are a student or a contractor, Dixon pencils are perfect for any occasion
I do not know how I could live without Dixon pencils, I purchase these from Quill.com and I am really satisfied with the quality. I originally used Rose Art pencils, and they were good but they often broke when I used them for wood working. I needed a stronger pencil and my uncle who is also a general contractor, told me about Dixon pencils. Dixon pencils are just your average wood pencil, they are made in the USA and they come in packs of six. You can order them just about anywhere and they can often be had for fewer than two dollars. I use these pencils on the job site and I couldn't be happier, they have served their purpose and they haven't failed on me yet.
Dixon pencils are not pre sharpened, but they do sharpen beautifully, I have used these with traditional sharpeners and electric sharpens and I got above average results. In terms of writing these pencils are good for just about anything, I am a home builder so I use these Dixon pencils for drawing floor plans and marking cuts on wood. The led is dark so I get a precision design every time, and the pencil isn't week like other models that will just snap when you are in the middle of drawing. I value these Dixon pencils so much that I won't share them with anyone.
There is nothing special about Dixon pencils; they give you a decent drawing tool for a small price. If you are in construction work, having a good pencil is a much have. I will not skimp on quality and the Dixon pencils have really good quality. So if you want a very good pencil whether you are a student or construction worker, the Dixon pencils are a valuable addition to anyone's workspace.
