A fantastic vacuum for bare floors

I got this one after doing a lot of research online. We have hardwood floors and three cats, so I needed something powerful to suck up the hair. It also had to be light and easy to use, as I try and vacuum a little almost every day. As it grew harder and harder to find bags for my old vac, I wanted a bagless model.

The Breeze accomplishes everything I wanted it to. It's light enough for me to carry in one hand while I use the hose with the other. It's very powerful, much better than my old vacuum that seemed perfectly fine before! It makes the vacuuming so much quicker.

I like not having to buy bags for it. The Breeze has a clear container that holds all the dirt, and a filter. The filter has to be changed every six months or so, and you have to take it out and bang it against the side of the trashcan to clean the dust and cat hair out. So it's kind of a pain in that regard. I still prefer it to buying bags.

This vacuum can stand on its hind legs! Ok, it doesn't have legs, but it balances nicely on its back wheels so you can take off the container to empty it. That is also a lot nicer than my old canister vacuum. It just makes it easier to use day to day. It also takes up less space when I store it in the closet.

One of my main complaints is the cheap mechanism that holds the tube attachments to the hose. It is a pain to take on and off, and doesn't look that sturdy. My old vacuum attached by just sticking them on, no lock or anything. It worked just fine.

I love this for bare floors, dusting, stairs, countertops etc. It works OK on the area rugs and on our upholstery. For anyone with shag rugs, I wouldn't recommend this except for a second vacuum.

I shopped around, and got it at Amazon for $79.00 with free shipping. I think that is a great price. I just saw it at Target offline today and the same exact one was $99.00 + tax.
