Great Value!

I just purchased the new Directed Electronics Soloist (SOLOD1)speaker system that is compatible with both Sirius satellite radio systems and the Apple iPods. I received the Sirius radio for Christmas and wanted to get something to use to play it in my office. When I saw the Soloist at Best Buy I really liked the flat panel speaker design and that the unit has a small footprint which is important on my cluttered desk. Then I saw it could also play the Apple iPod. I must say that I was skeptical that something could be used for both and do a good job for the price. Thus far I am very impressed with the quality, sound, and design. It comes with an AC adapter, Sirius antenna, various cradles to properly seat all models of iPod and all of the newer Sirius radios, and a remote control that can control both pieces of equipment. The remote was an especially nice surprise and it actually came with batteries! The sound is particularly impressive for its size and price. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something to play EITHER unit, even if you don't have both yet.
