Retro but Modern

A toaster oven sits on top of the counter permanently, unlike, say a blender that gets put away after use. So the toaster oven is the one to spend a little more on since you and your guests will be looking at it regularly. I owned the old DeLonghi toaster oven and was impressed how durable it was. I assumed that since Fiats and Alfa Romeo's are unreliable, that I was risking it to get an Italian brand. But that oven performed like a champ for the past 3 years. When I saw how cool this one looks, I just couldn't resist. The clincher was when I played with the toaster timer. It's much quieter than the load ticking we had on our old model.
