Nice Fryer

Used this for about a year now and this is a nice, safe fryer. Has a timer, but I don't use it. I like that the basket goes up and down with the lid closed. It also has a safety cord that will pop off very easily so that the unit cannot be pulled off a counter by the cord.

While draining the unit is easy with the hose, I worry that the 'hose' fills up with crud that I can't see. It also has a window in the lid that is pretty useless. There is also a filter that may or may not be effective, and I don't know where to get new filters, but they're probably out there somewhere. Also, the temperature adjustment is not accurate, but that's not really a big deal to me, as I use an electronic thermometer to set the temp anyway.

This is a good unit with good features and a lot better than the fry daddy I had, especially for the price.
