Good video, ok audio, lots of cables...
Pros:
Good video, lots of cables, good remote.
Cons:
Sound could be better. User manual describing menus is not very good.
The Bottom Line:
The video, the various hook ups, the ease of use and the solid base makes this a good buy. Only the audio kept it from 5 stars.

I have had this LCD TV/Monitor for a week. So far everything about it is fine with a couple of small things. For one the sound sometimes seems to have a "lisp". This happens with voices and I have had to make some strange audio adjustments reduce it. This is not a show stopper and oddly enough it only happens sometimes (like during Law and Order SVU irregardless of the channel). Again not a show stopper. The sound quality overall is ok.
The video looks good for both TV and PC analog hook up. It also has a DVI hookup which I am not using. While in PC analog mode you can watch TV with the PIP feature. You have three sizes of PIP (from small to almost a quarter of the screen). The pip tv window can be moved to any four corners and you can also adjust where on the screen you want (like in the very middle I suppose). One thing to note is the pip window only works while in PC mode meaning you cannot have a PIP window of your PC or of another TV channel in TV mode. The PIP window can display video from the composite video, S-Video, or component video inputs.
All the inputs are, typical 75 ohm tv cable(or 300ohm antenna), S-video, Composite audio and video, a DVI in and a typical PC monitor interface (d-sub). For sound from your PC you can hook up an audio cable from your sound card. There is also audio and video out.
There are multiple settings for audio and video. For audio there are preset settings for voice, music, and there is a theater setting. There is also a personal audio setting you can make modifications to.
With video you can set it to widescreen (which compresses a normal tv signal), widescreen which does not compress, and 4:3 (leaving black side bars).
The TV takes a small amount of time to set up. The cables you need to hook you could be a little more convenient but not a big problem. The stand is actually quite sturdy. It swivels side to side and there is a tilt of 0 to 35 degrees (I am approximating here). The stand is heavy so I feel confident I will not accidentally knock it over.
The remote is easy to use and has all the functionality you need to set it up. If you plan to use a universal remote with this use the Philips or Magnavox codes.
The manual could have been much, much better. It was great on how to plug in everything and set up the stand but the menu options are not very well laid out.
Last but not least... cables... Dell for some reason really shipped this thing with every possible cable (except S-Video). A DVI cable, an audio jack cable, the VGA monitor cable, the component audio and video cable. This was a nice surprise.
