Try another brand

I ordered this on line and it was delivered in a very flimsy cardboard box that was not secure enough to protect the unit. I plugged it in and kept getting an E1, E2 error. Nothing in the poorly written instruction manual to explain this. I called Delonghi and they said the unit was defective and they had no replacement parts for it at this time.
When I removed the black plastic air filter from the back while unplugging to unit to send back the entire coil section on the back of the unit was crushed in. Sending it back was a real chore because the shipping carton is just to flimsy to hold the unit. Had to use two rolls of strapping tape. The bottom line is, try another brand. DeLonghi support is nonexistant for spare parts. What a disapointment this was and a hassle too.
