The image reproduction is superb, colours were vibrant and lifelike. Compared to other manufacturers, Datacard produces machines that truly bring print quality to the user. Printers from Eltron/Fargo reproduce photo images that are blurred and dull compared to the SP35.

The SP35 design is true to modern day aesthetics and would sit well on most reception desks or instant issuance counters.

It is the only printer in the market that is field upgradable to smart card/ mag stripe encoding. This means upgrades to the printer can be performed at a later date.

This is such a welcome relief to the other manufacturers like Eltron/Fargo that force users to buy a whole new machine if they want to upgrade to smart card/mag stripe card technologies. Datacard even integrates the popular couplers into the printer itself. This is much more acceptable than the contact stations that other manufacturers provide, leaving the coupler dangling on the outside of the printer

I throughly recommend this printer if you are looking for quality without compromise.
