Buyer Beware

I had purchased this unit in June 08. I was cooling a 550 ft area. It worked great until the heat wave started. It started to cool less and less. The temp was reaching 92F and at best it would drop to 88F. The vent and intake hoses heated up so much they were putting out more heat. I had to have a fan on them to cool them down. I had the unit in an area that gets no sun, shaded by trees. I called for service and was told by the tech that he could do nothing for me the unit is junk and I should return it to the store. I did and now living without any a/c for the next 9 days until my sharp arrives.
