I have this and I absolutely love this thing. We have had it for about one and one half years and now we wouldn't know what to do without it. We can set up programs to be recorded even when we are not around. It records just one show, a show each week, or every time a show comes on. It records up to one hundred hours of television time. It is easy to use and easy to program too. The recorded shows are easy to access after the fact too. You can the recorded show on a list, by either date recorded or name of the show. You can also record on two different channels at one time, or watch one channel while recording on a different channel. The recordings come through clear with no problems with reception. This DVR can also do picture in picture where you can watch two different channels at the same time on split screen. You can also search for for shows in advance to find when and where they are at. The remote control for this has a one button feather that will instantly record the program you are viewing. You can pause live television, fast forward through the commercials on recorded shows and watch any program on your time line, not when the networks broadcast it. The best part of this DVR is that with a bit of programing, you can leave it and not miss any of your favorite television show ever again.
