Cuisinart DCG-12BC Electric Blades Grinder

 I went for the DCG-12BC coffee grinder because of the Cuisinart name, the stainless steel exterior, and the removable, easily cleanable bowl.  The bowl is, in fact, easy to clean.

After grinding about one and a half bags worth of beans, however, the motor stopped... dead.  The first response from customer support was to send a new lid (after a couple of months, as it was on back order).  That, of course, had no effect, so they sent a new unit (after I shipped back the dead one... at my expense). About three quarters of the way into the FIRST bag of beans, the new unit also stopped dead, never to go again.

I am still waiting for a response to my latest complaint to customer service.


STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!  I only regret that I had to give it as high as a 1 star rating.
