Low Price High Quality = Audio Excellence

I got the Cyber Acoustics Amplified Speaker System (CA3080) for this past Christmas, and I love them. Because I didn't buy them myself, I'm not sure how much they cost, but I'm pretty sure they were somewhere around 20 - 30 dollars. I see a lot of speaker systems for sale nowadays, but generally a decent 2.1 speakers system is anywhere from 50 to 150 dollars, depending on the brand and stuff like that. I've never heard of Cyber Acoustics before, so when I opened the box wasn't sure what to expect. Inside the box were the subwoofer, two speakers, the AC/DC adapter, and a little adapter cable. The power cable plugs into the subwoofer, and there is a thick cable that goes from the subwoofer to the right speaker. Another wire goes from the right speaker to the left speaker. Finally, there is a cable attached to the right speaker that you plug into your audio port on your computer, mp3 player, cd player, etc. The plug is a standard headphone plug, but the included adapter gives you the ability to plug the speakers into a device with a RCA outputs, such as a VCR or DVD player. This versatility is a nice feature. On the right speaker, there is an on/off push button with a bright but subtle blue light above it to indicate the power state. To the left of the on/off button is a wheel for adjusting the bass (subwoofer) volume. To the right of the button is a master volume wheel. When turned to full master volume, these speakers are VERY loud. They are so loud they will almost hurt your ears. I keep them turned down, but if you like loud noise/music, you have that option. The bass volume adjuster is very nice. You can go from zero bass volume (which makes the speakers sound like any old computer speakers, kind of plain and stuff) to full bass, which gives your music a satisfying fullness. I keep the bass turned to about 2/3, and I am very happy with it. As for the quality of the sound, I would give it about an 8 or 9 out of 10. Even when turned up high, the quality sound is excellent. When turned down, the quality is also excellent. These aren't Bose speakers or anything, but they are excellent anyway. From listening to music to watching Hi-Def movies, these speakers should keep you very happy. I have mine hooked up to my computer for music right now, and they blow my old computer speakers out of the water. So overall, this 2.1 speaker system from Cyber Acoustics is a great choice of speakers. The quality is excellent and the price is low. What else could you ask for?
