Supreme Super 600?

We purchased this blender due to its more powerful motor, and larger jar capacity in order to make smoothies. They ended up more like chunkies!!!!  This blender did not seem to have the ability to draw down liquid to the blade. Ice was not fully crushed leaving large chunks at the top of the jar. Even after adding additional liquid, we still had to "assist" this blender by manually mixing the contents of the jar, then running the blender again.  Why no product is perfect, it was probably not asking too much to expect a blender to blend. Was returned to point of purchase the next day.
