Cuisinart 10 cup Grind and Brew

We bought this coffee maker last year. It still works and looks great. If we were going to change anything about it we would make the grinder reservoir big enough to hold enough beans for a full 10 cup pot. Our favorite features are that grinding is self contained, so you don't need a messy grinder and that it has an adjustable temperature feature so the coffee stays as hot as you like it. It does not force you to stay with whole bean coffee because there is an off/on button for the grinder. The default for the grinder is on unless you specifically turn it off. We tried a similar model from Krups but that model did not make the coffee hot enough for us. We noticed that Cuisinart attempted to make this model "sleepy-head" proof so that it beeps at you if you forget to assemble it correctly in the morning or if you forget something important, like water. The "sleepy-head" proof feature is helpful but also annoying. It's frustrating to figure out what you've done wrong while it's beeping at you. Also the initial programming of the coffee maker is not intuitive. We were glad we didn't toss the instructions for it. Overall we're happy with our purchase and we'd recommend it to other coffee lovers.
