You DON'T get what you pay for!

Date of Review:  Mar 16, 2007
The Bottom Line: The price premium isn't justified. If you ever need support from Cuisinart you will be in for a very frustrating journey.
Review: I wanted to like this bread machine, I really did. And let's face it, it's usually pretty easy to like something when you're able to get it using a free gift card you received to the store. But even though it didn't actually cost any money out of my...

Cuisinart Bread Machine problems

Date of Review:  Apr 23, 2009
The Bottom Line: The bread crust is always thick on the bottom. Pans always comes loose. If the bread isn't cooked right, then I can't use it...period.
Review: I use to own a Toast Master bread machine for well over ten years. I got so I was rather good at making bread, and the family always enjoyed my bread efforts, most of the time. :-) I read some of the reviews for the Cuisinart CBK-200, and thought...

Great looking - poor design

Date of Review:  Mar 19, 2006
Review: I purchased this machine about a month ago. It looked great when I unpackaged it... then the disappointment set in. The breadpan was loose inside the machine. I adjusted the side spring clips to hold the pan more securely and that helped but it...

Massive Disappointment

Date of Review:  Jul 21, 2008
Review: We ended up returning this machine because we had to wrest the loaves out of it in bits and pieces. We think this is because the paddle was so loose-fitting that dough got between the post and the paddle, firmly baking them together. Another...

Disappointed--don't buy

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2007
Review: After 10 years of excellent service, our previous brand wore out and we bought Cuisinart for their good name and convection cooking feature. What a mistake! As other reviews indicate, it makes very burnt or heavy thick crusts. Even on the light...

Rust and Customer Service Problems

Date of Review:  Aug 12, 2007
The Bottom Line: Makes good bread, has problems with rust and customer service.
Review: Rust. Who would have thought it in a Cuisinart product! They used to be so reliable.

I have had this machine for a year now, use it about 3 times per week to make most excellent breads. It accommodates, with a little hand tweaking, even my...

Wish I could return it.

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2008
Review: So far, this machine has turned out not a single good loaf of bread. They've either been burned or floury, and I follow the recipes & directions carefully. It has been a supreme waste of money.

Not quite whole storey

Date of Review:  Jan 23, 2008
The Bottom Line: Do NOT purchase ANY bread machine with side clips to hold the pan in place - they don't work, you just waste your time and money.
Review: Used the machine to make some twenty loaves and, if watched carefully, when it worked, it worked well. The largest problem was with the side clips that held the pan in place. They don't. The resulting racket sounds like a cement mixer gone wild. The...

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2006
Review: I have had the best time making fresh homemade bread. This new bead machine is the best; it's simple to use, looks great & the finished product is fantastic. I just made a 2-Lb loaf of fresh tomato, basil & sunflower seed bread. It was the hit of...

It's OK

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2009
The Bottom Line: Be sure to decide on what type of loaf you are looking for prior to buying. The Cuisinart works great
Review: I used a Black and Decker machine for years and decided on replacing it with the Cuisinart because of looks (SS vs white plastic) to match our newly renovated kitchen. The Cuisinart machine works great and I have never had a problem with functions,...
