Cute and practical addition to your nursery

I got this humidifier at my baby shower. What great timing since my baby was born in October, right before the onset of winter.

This humidifier claims to have "whisper quiet operation", which is truly does. Once turned on, in a matter of minutes I am able to tune out what little noise that it makes.

The switch is on the back of the unit, and there is a knob on the front to adjust the amount of steam coming out. Adjusting the right amount of steam coming out can be a little tricky, but the product comes with a little credit-sized cardboard illustration of what the steam should look like. I've slipped this under the unit and refer to it once in awhile, but it's really a no brainer once you've figured out how to use it.

I like that the unit turns off automatically once the tank is empty. It has a 1 gallon tank capacity, so it usually lasts me 2-3 days on a full tank, with the unit running night and day. It actually warns you not to store water in the tank, so what I usually do is run it until all the water is gone, then unplug it.

My sons crib is actually in our master bedroom with us right now, so this humidifier is also in our bedroom. It also helps my husband and I since we are also benefiting from the moisture in the air. What I love most is the cute design, and I feel it really does work just as well as other name-brand humidifiers out there.
