LetraTag Iron-on Labels Fall Off

Not recommended for laundry. I purchased the Dymo LetraTag QX50 specifically to make iron-on labels for my elderly mother's clothing. After only ONE washing, most of the labels came off! Of the ones that stayed on, the type was faded. Also, the type is too small when on 2 lines even though there is plenty of space for the type to be larger.
