Cosco Summit High Back Booster: Quite Promising, But Fails to Reach the Summit

Date of Review:  Jun 29, 2002
The Bottom Line: I have mixed feelings about recommending this car seat. Though it has several appealing features, it also has some major detractors. Keep your expectations realistic.
Review: Here I am again, the queen of car seat returns. Yes, if you want me to cut to the chase, I'll admit right out that I returned this car seat, as I have with most of the one's I've purchased. If that's all you wanted to know, then you might as well...

The ONLY Convertible Booster Consumer Reports Recommends Without Reservation

Date of Review:  Apr 10, 2004
The Bottom Line: I wanted a seat for someone falling in that in-between stage (outgrown the regular car seat, but too young/lightweight for a conventional booster). This seat comes close...
Review: When my son was 2½ he presented us with an interesting dilemma. Tall for his age while still being quite skinny, he outgrew his beloved Britax Roundabout carseat (a forward-facing seat is considered "outgrown" when the tops of the child's ears are...

Cosco Summit High Back Booster: Finally A Car Seat My Daughter Can't Get Out Of!

Date of Review:  Jun 7, 2002
The Bottom Line: This seat is wonderfully versatile as it can be used as a car seat and booster.
Review: About two months ago, my daughter decided that she'd try a little magician's trick. As we were traveling home from my parent's house, I glanced into the back seat to find that my daughter had unbuckled herself from her car seat and was attempting to...

EXCELLENT!!!

Date of Review:  Mar 31, 2004
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car seat to everyone. Bottom line: buy it, save your receipt, test it for fit in your car. If it doesn't fit, return it.
Review: I took a leap of faith when I bought this car seat for my daughter. She had outgrown the Century Accel (everytime I lowered the overhead bar, it would hit her in the head), and we needed something quick. Off to Wal-Mart I went, looking for something...

I have reached the Summit--quicker than I would have expected

Date of Review:  Jul 23, 2002
The Bottom Line: Many great features make this seat very attractive, just make sure your seat expectations will be met when using this seat.
Review: I am now volunteering more and more time at a local car seat inspection station. I get excited whenever I get to install a newer model seat, or very upset when I see very old seats coming to be checked. The one seat that I was interested in seeing...

We love this seat! (Model 22-260)

Date of Review:  Feb 29, 2004
The Bottom Line: Definitely a keeper! I highly recommend this seat. We are very happy with our purchase. We needed a safe seat for a small car and we found it!
Review: We have 2 small cars, a Mustang 5.0 and a Mustang Cobra convertible. It is a constant struggle to mind a SAFE seat that is small enough to fit into our cars. The Cosco Summit seat (model 22-260)was the only toddler booster Consumer Reports would...

The only carseat you need besides the infant carrier!

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2002
The Bottom Line: I have to say its well worth the 99 bucks paid for it.NO other carseat has all these great features and is this cheap too! Thumbs up!
Review: It really is a great carseat! I bought 3 of them because I liked how it had every feature that I was looking for in other carseats. Such as cupholder, reclining seat, soft material thats unisex, arm rests that move out of the way if wanted, multi age...

Another chance for Cosco

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2003
The Bottom Line: The Cosco Summit has proven to be a very safe, comfortable and convenient car seat. I am very glad that I gave Cosco another chance.
Review: I had no intention of buying a booster for at least another couple of years since my son was only 11 months old and 22.5 pounds and fit just fine in his Evenflo Triumph with room to spare. However while on a long drive up north my son used his time...

Great Concept, Poor Execution

Date of Review:  Oct 30, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you don't mind untwisting straps every day, buy it. If you don't have the time or patience, choose another model.
Review: I purchased this seat for my daughter who had outgrown her other seat. I wanted to keep using the 5 point harness system as long as possible for safety reasons.

I like many of the design aspects of this seat. It is good for up to 100...

Overall a good buy

Date of Review:  Feb 26, 2003
The Bottom Line: This is a good buy.
Review: Overall this is a pretty good product. My child is 20 months and he loves it as it has a lot of space, It does not make him feel confined like other car seats may, It gives more room to play, has arm rests, drink holders and is cushy on the bottom...
