basic car seat, no frills and no big probs either
Pros:
The price is affordable.
Cute cover.
Easy to move in and out of car.
Cons:
Difficult to replace the cover after laundering.
Not the most comfortable seat on the market.
The Bottom Line:
I recommend this seat for the economy models. If you have a small budget, and need something safe and fairly simple to use, this one works.

We broke down and bought a new carseat. While we would have preferred a Britax, just couldn't swing the cash. And we couldn't wait. The little one was terribly cramped facing rear in our compact car. She is petite in her build, but has long legs and was scrunched. So we looked online at safety considerations, and then our budget considerations and decided on the Scenera.
On the positive, it's kind of hard to find a pink/girly carseat and after a houseful of boys, I like the pink stuff! She seems much happier in it than scrunched up in her rear-facing seat. She doesn't cry as often or as soon at least. We had to make a two day trek with it right after it was purchased, and she did pretty well in it.
It was fairly simple to install. My dbf took care of that part. However, it is usually upon me now to remove/replace it so we can go with Grandma or Auntie in their cars. I find it is really quick and simple to move it out of ours and into theirs. Now, carrying both the toddler and the seat between destinations isn't the simplest.
At the end of our big two-day drive, she had some tummy issues and the end result was the cover needed washing...badly. This was not the easiest process. It took dbf twenty minutes to get the cover back on properly. I gave up after a few minutes, myself.
There's not a lot of exact padding, and certainly no bells or whistles with this one. However, for the price, it's a pretty good seat. The most important factor was that it would be safe, and according to my research, it is.
