So Far, So Good

41,000 Miles on my Sebring and still doing well. A few sound gremlins have appeared and vanished, nothing to get into a twist about. Mileage is good (30 Highway) and my nagging regret is that I didn't beg for the UConnect. Maybe someone will do an aftermarket deal on that. The cabin's sound insulation is excellent. I had other Chrysler's that roared with the windows up, looks like someone paid attention on this one. I couldn't really convince myself to get the touring model. I spend alot of time in my car but I don't want to live in it. The basic features are enough, trust me. It has a surprisingly smooth ride too! Like a little cloud.

I do feel good pulling next to a Camry or Passat. I stuck to my guns and bought American. They do look the same in so many ways I often wonder what is the real difference? Toyota and Volkswagen all have the same issues, it's just American autos have a bad rap. As much as I was tempted to support the anti-American's I now smile at the fact that I did something to try to avoid this recession. I love my little car and it looks sharp in white. I only hate bumping my head on every other exit!
