Author's Review
How can engineers improve upon perfection. The body style is breathtaking. You must watch out when parked in a lot, as the doors are " Albatross " and may hurt themselves if they knock into a neighboring car.
When you find the perfect frame be happy, how can you improve upon perfection? This is a HOT looking car along with its' strength and integrity.
Please add the High Polished Aluminum Wheels. They accent the best "Vette" yet.
The Bose Sound System has never worked in my car. Must've been a flaw from the start. But I still have a few more "extended " coverage miles left to fix. I am not concerned. It will be fixed. If not, you shall know.
Geez, that "Taxi Cab Yellow" color looks so good, but I am too conservative, chose white for my car, besides all the Hummer's around here
are sporting the "LOOK AT ME" yellow! (My next Corvette will be red or black).
My first "insane" move was exiting the New Jersey Turnpike Exit #16W at 125 MPH. This is a severe left arc, with a bumpy cement face.
It was a time when no trucks or cars were near. The car "hugged" the surface as I inched stattaco the wheel towards left. WOW what a thrill, but I do not recommend any one to try it. I was out of breath with the thrill, then was disappointed with my stupidity. (OK, I said to myself.......WOW!!! You are so lucky. ...)
As far as comfort this is a car for people that do not have any orthopedic problems. Getting in and out can be a pain along with a surprise for tall and "ouchey" ones.
OK, the engine seems noisy..... as this engine should be.
I drove an Eldorado ETC prior to this car. It is a different animal. The sound of the engine is a different frequency. You will get used to it quickly.
No, I am not a GM lover, just always wanted a Corvette. I live in an area where so many "high-end" cars are around. But I am not a snob. I am lucky that the Corvette more than holds it's own. I am also fortunate I paid just under $50,000. The Corvette gets looks from the little whannabe known as a Boxter (as if!), and his big sis, Porshe.
Both should take a lesson from Volvo. You cannot remain ugly and still have a great reputation. But, hey.....it's only my opinion, I could be wrong.
Thank you for hearing about this car from me.
I had taken an hour to update my thoughts. Kept them quick and to the point, and then this site stalled.
