decent truck..

I was graduating from high school in 2002 and in 2001 decided I wanted me a small pickup truck. I looked high and low for one I could afford ($2000 or below)

I found my 91 burgendy s10 on a car lot saturday morning, it was off to the side looking miserable. I took it for a test drive, the guy said he would sell for $3000, I noticed the trans refused to shift into second so I got it for my price...

I drove it for 6 months, saved up and installed a transmission. Again I saved up after that and had the air conditioning compressor replaced. I drove the truck from 2001-2005 with no complaints or problems.

One say while I was at work all that came crashing down (literally) I was minding my own business whenout of the blue someone was turning around, their truck got away from them and WHAM right into my truck.

The insurance company wanted to total, and I said no way. I wound up getting my truck repaired, and a new paint job to boot.

Early in 2006 my engine started knocking and giving trouble, so I decided to buy another truck. I would up with a 96 ext cab 1500....I drove it and the s10 for a while, meaning to just sort of park the s10. I wound up installing a brand new engine in the s10, it was costly but worth every penny.

Would I recommend the 91 to anyone...No I wouldnt recommend mine, because ITS NOT FOR SELL!! But a good s10 is worth its weight in gold to me
