Practical car for tough times
Pros:
Nice design, cool features, a good enough engine and MP3 player to boot.
Cons:
Hmm, I wish there were more color options,
The Bottom Line:
This is definitely bang for the buck. My brother tells me that there are other options out there, but for the price, this one takes the pie.

Author's Review
I can say that I am a fan of this car. My brother bought one last year and he likes it as well. Though, I know Chevy is feeling the crunch of the economic crisis, I actually laud them for coming up with a car last year which is actually recession proof. With Chinese car manufacturers producing cheap cars, it is remarkable for Chevrolet to give us the consumers better options especially when it comes to price.
One of the things I like about the Aveo sedan is how fashionable it is designed with its crystalized headlamps, its uber strong chrome grill and its alloy wheels. The body of the whole vehicle is ideally proportioned for me which is a big thing on the looks aspect.
The body is kept light but is tough and with the 1.4 liter motor it can produce a good 94 horsepower which is awesome. I heard the throttle control and gear shift on this new model is better as well though I can't confirm that since I have not driven an Aveo before. For a cheap car, I also wouldn't compromise, with the brand. At least you get some sort of brand guarantee, plus assurance that it'd have lots of parts available in the future. See http://www.autopartsplace.com/Chevrolet~Models/Aveo.html for available parts. There are lots.
This car is also all about space. It can comfortably sit 5 adults while still offering a spacious trunk. I say that makes it perfect for an upcoming family without a compromise on the design. This car is definitely something a yuppie like me would not mind driving to the office. The speakers are really powerful and nothing beats listening to MP3's while driving. There are lots more to love with its power steering, power windows, central locking and motorized side mirrors.
Overall, I think the car is a practical vehicle fit for today's economy.
