Product Review

You can't go wrong with a G-Shock.

by   ms529212 ,   Jun 12, 2008

Pros:  Very attractive looking; fully functional; long-lasting.

Cons:  Casio watch bands are notoriously low quality - the only flaw. :(

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

I've been wearing Casio watches exclusively for probably the past 20+ years after being disappointed by Timex. The past 3 watches I've owned have been G-Shocks, and I've yet to be unhappy with one. After the battery and EL light in my DW-9052 model finally died after many years of use, I decided on this one. I like how the time is shown in large digits...some of the other models try to cram too much on the face of the watch. I almost went with one of the Atomic Solar models, but those don't come with a countdown timer for some reason.

The e-data feature doesn't seem very useful, particularly since you can only read 3 characters at a time. Similarly, I don't imagine I'll use the world time function very often, or that I'll ever need to set 5 alarms. However, I'd rather have extra features I don't use than go without something I need...
