DC10- a pleasant surprise.

I have owned and used Canon Professional EOS still cameras for years, and found their qualities to surpass the competition by a comfortable margin. When choosing a camcorder, I had only domestic use in mind, and had to throw away preconcieved ideas about what features would be required. In my final decision, I stuck with the Canon brand, knowing their image stabilisers to be class leading, and having handled this camcorder in store, what struck me most was its user- friendly layout and simplicity of operation. Anyone can use this machine after a very brief introduction- AND enjoy it.
