Fantastically fun digital "snapshot" camera

Date of Review:  Sep 26, 2001
The Bottom Line: A great introductory camera for someone interested in trying out digital photography without spending a fortune. Great for eBayers!
Review: Pocket sized, weighing in at less than a pound, and carrying a $299 price tag, the Canon PowerShot A-10 is to $600 and up digital cameras what the fully automatic point and shoot compact 35 mm cameras are to more expensive and capable 35 mm SLRs...

Great camera but a bit of a battery vampire

Date of Review:  Dec 30, 2001
The Bottom Line: It's a great value for someone wanting nicer but not too expensive camera. You'll also have to splurge for lots of batteries, and an AC adapter.
Review: WHY I BOUGHT AN A10

I recently pooled some birthday and Christmas money together to buy myself a digital camera. I wanted optical zoom and lots of photo taking options but I didn't want to spend over 500. I wanted decent quality but since...

Excellent, fun, point-n-shoot

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2001
The Bottom Line: Seems like it should be more expensive camera. Looks good, feels good, takes good pictures.
Review: I have an original ixus (what a cool camera) and a Minolta 7000i (oldie but goodie) and a Sony PC1 so I thought I had the field covered between quality and convenience in my photography. However, recently I'd find myself at events or on holiday and...

Fantastic entry into Digital photography

Date of Review:  Mar 19, 2003
The Bottom Line: This is a great all-around camera with really superior optics given the price.
Review: I bought this camera for my girlfriend to give her an entry into photography, but since we've had this little machine, it has supplanted all our other cameras, including my bag full of Nikons, a 2 megapixel Olympus with a 10x zoom, and even our...

Absolutely the best value I could find.

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2002
The Bottom Line: This camera is perfect for the average picture taker. It's inexpensive for it's high quality, it's easy to use, the pictures are great, and the included software is absolutely flawless.
Review: I searched for months to find the best quality camera I could at a reasonable price. I take a lot of pictures of family and friends, upload a lot of them to the web, print some on my printer, and have a few professionally developed. But I'm not a...

Great Camera

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2003
The Bottom Line: Canon is a good brand, takes excellent pictures, easy enough for anyone to learn to use.
Review: I recieved the crappy Kodak Digital Camera and Printer kit for christmas a couple of years ago. They didn't work out and my old Vivital Digital Camera was in need of replacing. So I sold the old digital camera and took the crappy Kodak kit back to...

Good for it price class range.

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2002
The Bottom Line: For the features-cost of cameras in this range, it's tops. Rechargable batteries more memory a must. Software could be improved. Great for packing around every day. Brand name camera.
Review: I looked over all cameras and reviews in the 1.3-2mp with Zoom lens. What I came up with for the money was this camera. Note: With digital camera technology changing very rapidly I chose not to spent more at this time for a digital camera.

Happy with it!

Date of Review:  May 25, 2002
The Bottom Line: Least expensive, relatively best quality digicam with true optical zoom in addition to its digital zoom.
Review: Easy to use. Excellent image quality. Sharp looking camera. This is my first digital camera. I researched my selection thoroughly and finally decided on this particular camera because it was the least expensive camera that had an optical zoom in...

Great camera with Optical Zoom

Date of Review:  Nov 12, 2002
The Bottom Line: The camera that comes out of the box will need good rechargeable batteries and a new memory card to make it truly usable, but it's worth it.
Review: I looked around for about a week once I decided to get a digital camera. For under $200 dollars, it seemed I was limited to around one mega pixel. The A10 caught my eye because it has an Optical Zoom. Many cameras have Digital Zoom which simply...

The Bottom Line: Great quality, loads of settings, easy to use, stylish design, and lots of fun!
Review: This camera is perfect for anyone who wants to break into the digital world of photos but doesn't want the low quality pictures that other cameras produce. The Canon Powershot A10 produces excellent picture quality with easy to use functions. The...
