Last year I bought a 1986 Park Avenue with blown motor. We put a motor in it and it has given us 25,000 miles since and is still going strong. I think it is the most comfortable car I have ever owned. I have test driven a 1997 I liked it very much but the old one feels like home. Some of my favorite things about it are there is enough leg room and head room. Even with a car seat in the back seat there is room for two adults. The trunk is huge for bringing things with a big family. The reason we bought this vehicle is I liked the way it looked. Really there is nothing I don't like about Park Avenues. It gets reasonably good mileage. It is not an economy car so a person who wants an economy car shouldn't buy one.
