A truly great car seat
Pros:
Quite simply the best out there.
Cons:
It costs more than the competition.
The Bottom Line:
Find the extra money and get the Britax. You won't regret a penny of it.

Author's Review
I hoped she would stop growing, I really did. And all because I knew that a couple more inches in the torso or 3 more pounds and she would outgrow her Roundabout.
It's generally considered the safest seat on the market, with EPS foam lining the shell (making it more comfortable, too), a tethering arrangement which works both backwards and forward facing and exceeding all the US safety standards many other seats simply meet.
Those are all a given. What REALLY makes this seat stand out is the ease of use (I'm convinced that this adds to its safety, too, because it means that parents can more easily use the seat correctly EVERY time).
It has fit in every car I've ever tried it in, including some which made installing every other car seat impossible. The built-in lockoffs make installation MUCH easier (and safer) and I can't understand why other seats haven't adopted this feature.
The straps fasten easily and comfortably and adjustment is a snap with the button release for the harness. The straps are thicker webbing than other seats, meaning they don't twist. The covers come off and reinstall easily and come in lots of different designs so you can coordinate with your car (or just pick one that matches the substance your child is most likely to spill!)
Not at all by the way, we DID have an accident while using this seat: my husband had a 2-week bruise across his sternum, while my daughter didn't have a mark - she didn't even cry at the impact, and I can only assume that being comfortably and securely restrained was the reason.
My three year old finally DID outgrow this seat, and I still look at it longingly as it sits in the back of the closet. There's no other car seat on the market that's as user friendly or which has such a reputation for safety.
