Stain on your Soul

Date of Review:  May 30, 2001
The Bottom Line: This is a great album, and people who tell you otherwise don't know their a$$ from their elbow.
Review: Aaron Lewis has taken a giant leap with this album. Staind's first album, disfunction, was good in that it was a hard hitting metal album with alot of emotion behind it. But something Break the Cycle has that it's other didn't, is a sign of true...

Staind.. a great band

Date of Review:  Jun 5, 2001
The Bottom Line: I love Staind so I will be partial to them.. I love this CD and I think many people would enjoy it.. so BUY it!
Review: I'm going to be honest with you. I had never heard of Staind until I listened to "Outside" and "It's Been Awhile". But after I listened to this music, I fell in love with it. I love their melodious tone.. the way they express themselves. Their...

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2001
The Bottom Line: please get it, i've written enough about this album, do ya really need more?
Review: i'm a pretty big rap and hip hop fan myself, but i can't get my ears off the new STAIND album. why would a rap guy like me do so? i really don't know, but i could try to do so: it's a really damn good album. i know my rock/metal experience is very...

Staind Rocks!

Date of Review:  May 23, 2001
The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone who likes good metal. Meaningful lyrics, and a great sound all together!
Review: Music to me is more a feeling, then a sound. Staind's ability to make me feel is greater then any other bands capability. They completely touch me so passionately.
Their new ablum blew me away. Aaron's emotions (the lead singer) are told so...

Staind - Boston's Answer to Creed?

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2001
The Bottom Line: "Outside" and "It's Been Awhile" are not indicative of this album's line-up. Buyer beware unless you like surprises.
Review: "Your daughters are porno stars" croons Aaron Lewis on the opening track of Staind's new album, "Break the Cycle." This opening song, "Open Your Eyes," smacks of the same sort of "are you listening?" stuff that has elevated Creed higher...

Staind Clean Up a Bit But Remain Dark and Angry

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2009
The Bottom Line: Staind's biggest - but not quite best - album
Review: Springfield, Massachusetts rock quartet Staind gained some well-deserved attention with their 1999 album Dysfunction, but that was nothing compared to their runaway success earned by its followup, 2001's Break the Cycle. This album spawned five...
