Solution to pan "popping" out

Date of Review:  Nov 3, 2006
Review: My unit developed the "popping" out problem during the kneading cycle. The problem is the small "clips" on the side of the unit need to be bent out a bit to allow the pan to firmly snap in place. My problem didn't develop until after a year. I am...

Breadman TR2500

Date of Review:  Jun 2, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this breadmaker. I cannot really speak for all the models out there, but this one works well for me.
Review: Check out my review of the Sunbeam 5891. In that review, I compare it to the Breadman TR2500. The Breadman is the winner because of a much stronger kneading motor and kneading process. I had an Kenmore which was a private labeled Breadman and a...

Excellent rectangular loaf maker at great price

Date of Review:  Aug 31, 2006
The Bottom Line: Very good quality versatile machine at attractive price.
Review: Our older breadmaker, purchased from DAK, functioned well for about ten years before stopping, leading me to order this unit.

The Breadman TR2500 BC arrived within two days (Dallas to Houston) with free shipping, and in good condition. I...

Very poor customer service

Date of Review:  Mar 7, 2007
The Bottom Line: Stay away from this product. Once out of warranty they do not offer service and do not have service centres to handle warranty on a direct basis.
Review: We bought our Breadman Ultimate Plus TR2500BC Breadmaker as an open box item on December 2, 2006. On February 18th, 2007 only 11 weeks later with 18 minutes left to bake the machine cleared, started buzzing and would not reset. I had to unplug it to...

Works Great

Date of Review:  Apr 6, 2008
The Bottom Line: Simple to use and perfect bread every time.
Review: We have had this bread machine for two and a half years now and it still works great. The machine gets used at least 2 times a week and every loaf turns out great.

The only problem thus far is that the basket pops out of place occasionally...

No Good

Date of Review:  Dec 23, 2006
Review: The first time I used this machine, the bread pan came loose during the first knead cycle. Then the second time I attempted to use it, it didn't work at all. I returned it to Target that day. Not a good machine.

even the warranty replacement unit broke day 1

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2007
The Bottom Line: Look elsewhere.
Review: Hi. I've worn out several bread machines over 15 years and was very disappointed in this model. The first one I bought had the problem of the pan's popping out of it's clips from the first day. Bending the clips helped, usually, but I could never...

Convection????

Date of Review:  Mar 4, 2009
Review: I bought the Tr2500bc breadmaker and the convection fan runs about two minutes period and not at all on the bake cycle. They sent me another machine but have the same results. Can't get an answer from the company on when the fan is supposed to run...

Unfortunately, I got a Dud

Date of Review:  Apr 1, 2006
Review: I just got this machine and went to break it in, per the manufacturers instructions. Before baking bread, you have to run the machine on a bake cycle while empty in order to burn off the manufacturing oils. It went through the motions of kneading...

Doesn't compare to the TR2200C or Sunbeam 5891

Date of Review:  Aug 4, 2008
The Bottom Line: This unit was replaced by a Sunbeam 5891. Died in just over a year. TR2200C is far better. Now just spare parts for the TR2200C
Review: Had this unit for a little over a year.
Went to use it a few weeks ago and the display was dead, no beeps or anything.
Called the company nothing but prompt after prompt, hung up.
Took it apart found a bad soldier joint, fixed it...
