Author's Review

My Adidas Solos were recently purchased during a rather uneventful but ever-present pregnancy. I enjoy walking as a form of exercise on a pretty regular basis. I'm no professional and often I'm pushing a stroller, but the pace is steady and the walking surface not always level.

I admit to being a sneaker snob. I often associate high price with high performance, and I do tend toward certain brands. With Adidas currently being my brand of choice. My other foot fettish? Style---I don't think I could bring myself to buy a pair of sneakers that clashed with everything I owned.

Well, now that I 'fessed up to that, I must say that these shoes filled my snobbish needs as well as the need for cushion and performance. I've found the heel, especially, to have an extra measure of cushion---I'm not feeling a whole lot of shock even on hilly or uneven pavement. Walking a flea market for hours doesn't mean I'll have achy feet all night, and when I could still lift myself off the ground I was even jump roping with our preschooler and enjoying it.

The Adidas Solo is well cushioned, a nice width, and offers more than adequate support through the arch. Plus it's a nice looking walking shoe. I look forward to this shoe getting a lot of miles while trying to get those pregnant pounds off in the months to come. Believe me, if it's comfortable and full of support for a pregnant woman in her third trimester, it's comfortable for the average person.

A nice shoe, a reasonable price tag, and relatively stylish. I have experienced no cons to date and would re-purchase (assuming they're still available) when I wear my current pair out.
