Author's Review

Uncle Tom's Cabin was a very boring book. I was so confused by page 70 I wanted to stop readin. The book use language like tis and a-restin I just thought the whole book was hard to understand.
The main character is a slave named Uncle Tom who is religious and faithful.

The book is about a nice slave owner who falls into debt and has to sell two of his slaves, Harry (a little boy) and Uncle Tom. Eliza, Harry's mother, finds out that they want to sell her son and escapes. Uncle Tom gets sold. A slave hunter is after Eliza and she has to make it to Canada to meet up with her husband but the slave trader knows where she is going and is trying to get her son and kill her. Uncle Tom gets sold to a nice man named Augustine St. Clare but, then is sold again to a not so nice guy named Simon Legree. If you really care what happens read the book. I would deffientally reccomend going to SPARKNOTES.COM and getting some cliffnotes on the book becuase they are so much easier to understand but, hey it's up to you.
