C. S. Lewis - The Chronicles of Narnia

C.S. Lewis was a complete art with word! He Brought Narnia to our household in one collection that has not become over read, and I may say that we have read it through many of times!!

My oldest is 11 years old and hated having to read for school. He would rather sit around and play video games. His teacher assigned him 15 minutes of reading every night and did nothing bu complain. Through my search of reading materials that may interest this video game junkie, I remembered The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe from my own childhood. Since purchase, this series has been well worth the investment.

These books have become a part of our bedtime ritual. The younger children, 8 and 2, fall asleep to my reading every night. As I tuck my 2 year old into bed, he points at the books and says "please" in the cutest way possible. I must say that from 2-30, everyone in our house listens to the written picture that has made Narnia a part of our household.

These books have plenty of action, which keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the characters are all interesting. The experience is magical, as you journey to other worlds an enter magical wardrobes!!
