A cliffhanger to never be forgotten

Chapters 11 and 12 were like the icing on a cupcake. They wrapped up a good story, just like the creamy, vanilla icing that you would lick off of a cupcake. The reason for this is because of the huge climax involving T.J. The story ends at a spot unlikely to most stories, but to find out what happens next is found in the sequel/sequels.
If you were wondering, the situation involving T.J. was when T.J., Melvin and R.W. broke into Jim Lee Barnett’s store. After getting set up by Melvin and R.W., the Simms brothers stole the money, while T.J. took the Pearl handed pistol. Then, Mr. Barnett and his wife came, but Melvin and R.W. killed Mr. Barnett and injured his wife. T.J. then came into Stacey’s room at night, and woke him up. He told him that he needed help getting home because the Simms’s were probably waiting for him to beat him up again…as they did before T.J. came to the Logan’s house. Stacey helped T.J. back to his house, with the rest of the Logan’s following. Then, the Simms and Wallaces appeared. They threatened to hang T.J.! But, when Mr. Morrison and Papa arrived, a fire suddenly started. This ended the fighting, because everyone fought the fire on the Logan’s property to make sure that it didn’t blow onto their properties.
The part about the fire starting “suddenly” is not true. Papa purposely burned ¼ of his own cotton crop just to stop the fighting without using a gun. This showed a lot of courage by Papa to burn his own property just for T.J…the kid who got his wife fired! Stacey also showed a lot of bravery, by helping his ex-lifetime friend. After what T.J. did to his family, he had nothing that he owed T.J.
This story finally came to an end with a bang! In it’s rating, it is off the charts. With the huge interesting climax that I mentioned above, this story really improved as it went along. Characters developed, and others…including me will do anything to get that sequel in our hands. I can’t wait to read it!
